Lake Michigan Poker Run 2018
This weekend, July 21-22, Lake Michigan will once again host the annual Fun Run organized by Offshore Wench Poker Runs hosted at the Milwaukee Yacht Club. 2017 marks the fifth year for the Offshore Wench Fun Run on the waters of Lake Michigan. “It’s a more low key and casual event,” said Shannon Radtke, organizer of the run. Founded by Detroit Tigers great Vic Wertz in 1982, the Wertz Warriors have been riding their snowmobiles through Northern Michigan to raise funds for Special Olympics Michigan.
Celebrating their 37th Anniversary in 2018, the Wertz Warriors have traveled over 18,000 miles and raised over $8.8 Million to support the State Winter Games of Special Olympics Michigan.
The 2018 ride will take place on January 28th through February 3rd 2018.
